What’s happening with those swarms?

Today we checked on the swarm hives from 2 weeks ago to see if we can spot brood, queen, or larva. We have been watching the forager bees bring in pollen and nectar over the last week or so. Take a look!

Our 9 year old found the queen in hive #2. This spring, we have caught these 2 swarms plus 3 more that are being brought the apiary tonight.
