PROPOLIS-HONEY HERBAL THROAT DROPS (Extract)
One of the most used herbal products we used when our kids were growing up, was this herbal throat spray that used the power of honey and herbs to soothe those sore throats and coughs. This is such a great tool to have on hand.
Comes in 1 oz dropper bottle to avoid clogged spray bottles!

A little about the herbs used in this preparation:
Astragalus membranaceus: A 2023 review of 19 studies (involving 1,094 participants) found that astragalus enhanced immune responses and reduced levels of proinflammatory cytokines. https://www.nccih.nih.gov/health/astragalus
Usnea spp.: Used for acute, short term use. Usnea is used for its anti-bacterial and antifungal properties. https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/pharmacology-toxicology-and-pharmaceutical-science/usnea
Echinacea purpurea aerial & root: Used for acute, short term use. Echinacea extracts have been used traditionally as wound healing to improve the immune system and to treat respiratory symptoms caused by bacterial infections. Echinacea extracts have demonstrated antioxidant and antimicrobial activities. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/29749084/
Hydrastis canadensis root (Goldenseal): Used for acute, short term use. This plant has also been found to be a powerful anti-microbial, but on the endangered list which is why it is sourced well and used in small amounts in this formula. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC3100400/
Echinacea angustifolia root: Used for acute, short term use. Echinacea is a wide-spectrum immunomodulator that modulates both innate and adaptive immune responses. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC2362099/
Althaea officinalis (Marshmallow root): More typically used for a cough because of it’s soothing effects on the mucous membranes, tinctured Marshmallow root was used in this formula for the affect it has on lymph tissues. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC3834722/
Propolis: This amazing bee product has been found effective on over 600 bacterial strains. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC6600457/
Raw Honey: We love to use honey for coughs, but in this formula it offers antibacterial activity, maintains a moist condition on a sore throat, and its high viscosity helps to provide a protective barrier to prevent infection. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC3609166/
